howdy strangers
i know i haven't posted in a while so abject apologies all around. Grovelling over, does anyone know how to use the above. I want to unpack packed bitstream avi's with it. I downloaded the software along with .net framework 1.1 which i believe is required to run it however i havent the vaguest idea what to do next. The unzipped mp4modifier files don't contain an exe file ???

I just open it and add avi file and click unpack then save the modified file. Easy. :)

yup that's the one Sam. Haven't a clue how to use it. All i see are a couple of folders and some individual files, no exe file. Thanks Lona I'll try your link. Did you have to download netframework ??

i expect you should have an exe... redownload it - oh and yeah you will need to have the .NET Framework for it to work - I think you can get it from here (http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/f/3/4f3ac857-e063-45d0-9835-83894f20e808/dotnetfx.exe)

Ta sam, .NET framework already downloaded and installed. Definitely no executable file so i don't quite know how i'm supposed to run the program. I'll post a list the files i unzipped from the mpeg4modiffier zip file when i get home tonight. One thought, i d-loaded it to my old pc-still running on XP SP1, tho' i don't think not running SP2 should make any difference. ???

It's a great wee programme, Dave. I have to convert lots of movies that won't usually play on my standalone player. :)
