When you think about it, some of the best bands could be formed out of people who have died.  How about this line up:

Freddie Mercury (Vocals)
Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan (Guitar)
John Entwhistle (Bass)
John Bonham and Keith Moon (Drums)
