Hello...
Right. I downloaded a film of 698MB. I tried to put it on a disc of 700MB and Nero tells me that it won't fit on the disc :believe:
According to my calculator - and I checked this several times - the disc should have 2 spare MBs
Is Nero taking the :-X
Any answers please.

Its very close to the limit but most cds will take a couple of MB over the 700.
Does it give an option to try or does it just refuse ?
You may have to force it to "overburn", its a long time since I have done that but you will need to set it up in Nero Burning Rom or Nero Express.
Go to File/Options/Expert Features in Rom or Options/Expert Features in Express.
Theres a box in there that you can tell it to burn a few MB over. Dont go mad but you should be able to get up to around 82 mins or a little more on a 80 min CD.

Thanks.
Working on it

Right. I went into configuration (nero express) and moved the yellow marker up to 85 mins and the red marker up to 90 mins. But it still says that the disc is too small.........
The tray shot out at about 250mph

Which version of Nero Express are you using ?
I cant see configuration on mine only Options and that doesnt change the marker position as far as I know :dunno:
-
It says version 'OEM'.
At the bottom of the screen there's a dropdown that says 'más' in Spanish, which means 'more' in English. I click on that and a configure option appears. From there I changed the marker settings. It also tells me the size of the disc. 703MB......

I dont think you are looking in the right place.
You need to find somewhere that says Expert Features or its spanish equivalent.
If you cant find it in Nero Express then open Nero Burning Rom and look for it in there under File then Preferences.
The window that opens with the expert features part in is the same whether opened by Express or Burning ROM.

OK.
I found the 'expert features' and turned 'over burn' option on. I also manged to change it to English.
I'll let you know what happens.
