Be careful using programs like that, they can put a lot of strain on your DVD/CD laser which could lead to burnout.

I've never heard of a laser burnout.
Why would someone delete the data they just burned to a cd?

This is from "CDCheck 3.1.12.0" which is a similar program,

Because of sector by sector reading and multiple reading of the same sector during recovery this is stressing the drive very much and should be used with care.

this sort of method can also lead the drive to change read mode to a slower and more processor intensive way.. but I have never heard of the laser problem before.. but I guess it could do that
