Is it really??   :o  The first CD I bought was Dire Straits - Love Over Gold.  Must get the remastered version, because the original sounds rubbish today.

Yup, the CD celebrated it's 25th birthday a couple of weeks back. My biggest memory from the early days was how limited the range was! Not to mention expensive. My first disc, from memory, was Handel...
