Hi All,
I've just restored my laptop back to factory settings and installed only the software I need.
However it has created a D drive of 5gb and the C drive with the rest.
I want to either merge the two - to have one C drive. Or delete D and extend C to cover all the disk space.
i have download trial versions of Partition Magic and also Acronis Disk Suite, but none can peform the operation in trial mode.
Is there any way I can perform this with free software or do I need to shell out some cash to make this happen?
Cheers, DJ.

XP or Vista, DJ? I don't know the answer, but I know someone will want to know that! ;)

If you get a copy of Hirens boot disk then that has many disk management programs on it.
I merged 2 partitions on Vista with it a couple of weeks ago.
This is the latest version DJ, the one I used is earlier so this should work ok :

Thanks Sandra - worked a treat!
The CD has lots of useful tools on it - one for the safe pile I think.
Right - off to start Christmas Shopping :santa:
