The BBC has updated its homepage to allow surfers to customise it according to their needs and interests.
By clicking on a link when you visit the bbc.co.uk web page you can access a beta version of the new BBC homepage.
The page is made up of moveable, customisable widgets that give you access to local weather, news headlines and information about your favourite programmes.
Tony Ageh, internet controller at the BBC said: "These exciting developments mark an important stage in the work the BBC is doing to aggregate content more effectively and give users more control over how they experience bbc.co.uk."
"Enabling users to organise components of the homepage around the subjects that are most important to them increases its value and relevance, while still remaining a powerful expression of the BBC on the internet," said Ageh.
Martin Belam of the BBC compared the new homepage with a feature called myBBC which allowed a certain level of personalisation but was "quietly shut down in 2003".
"It seemed that in some ways that level of personalisation was a challenge for the BBC's very mainstream online audience. It will be interesting to see how the new drag 'n' drop BBC homepage interface fares with that same audience nearly five years later," said Belam.
The BBC website was officially launched 10 years ago.

It's OK, but it's just a portal really. The meat and potatoes underneath seem just the same.
