Jazz pianist and composer Oscar Peterson has died of kidney failure at his home in Toronto, at the age of 82.

Although I didn't buy any of his music I have to say that I enjoyed his style of jazz music.  I used to listen to him during the 60's on a radio station named AFN.

There is, and OP was an unquestionable great in his field. :(
