Evening peoples :) I'm after a good decent mp3 bitrate converter, I've no idea what's decent so I'm looking for some advice! Preferably a freeware one to 8-)

Hi Welshy,
What exactly are you trying to do? Do you mean converting MP3s to other file formats, or do you actually want to reduce the size of MP3s? You could have a look at this - not tried it myself though. :)

Hii, i mean keeping the same format, and ye simplely lowers the file size. running out of room on my ipod see :P

Give that a try, I think it should probably do it. All you would need to do is load the MP3, then save it again at a lower bitrate, but be aware, the lower the bitrate, the lower the sound quality. If you have anything precious, I would suggest taking a backup first, at the original bitrate. :)

Its a file converter but has the function to do what you need, nice and easy to use too
