FireFTP is a free, secure, cross-platform FTP client for Mozilla Firefox which provides easy and intuitive access to FTP servers.

I've been getting this message
"Connection Problems Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later."
-
We think it's something to do with our hosts, MB, and it will hopefully rectify itself soon.
-
I was starting to think that as I haven't been posting for a while, maybe I was overloading it. ;D
-
Fair point, MB, the problems have started since you came back. ;D
-
I have that effect where ever I go, but at least here people are polite. (usually) :) :-*
There is one forum that I visit occasionally, well less and less now, and they have some incredibly rude people. Probably, mostly kids as they have no appreciation for sarcasm. ;D
-
The youth shall inherit the earth, MB. :)
-
Not until they say, please. :)
-
Yeah... right! ;D

Is it http://forums.overclockers.com.au/ ?

Close gmax, but no cigar.
Mind you I had some serious issues with members buying multiple cpu's, overclocking them to see which one overclocked the best, then selling the others to members who had access to that feature, which I didn't. No wonder normal folk like me couldn't find a store that had any stock left.
-
You have to be a member for 3 months before you have access to the trading section, if thats what you are referring to?
Lots of good bargains there, i like it :)
-
I'm not sure when I joined, but I have picked up some useful knowledge. Came in handy when we replaced Michael's Motherboard and CPU.
Are you into overclocking then, gmax?
-
No, not into overclocking, if i think my cpu is to slow i just get a faster one,
one day i might try it.
-
I see, a chicken just like us...
With the cost of computer hardware, we can't afford running the risk of blowing them up. (https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cosgan.de%2Fimages%2Fmidi%2Fhaushalt%2Fk050.gif&hash=2d70871a31beae157713e958020806ea231a09d4)

I prefer overclocking chainsaws, now thats fun! :woot:

Are you sure you're not from Tasmania.......... :o
-
No, i'm from a sleepy old town called Adelaide, i don't think Bob Brown would let me come to Tasmania :)
-
Only if you promised to leave your chainsaw at home, but you probably get a job with Gunns.
Adelaide is a nice place, always enjoy watching cricket from the Adelaide Oval. Did you enjoy the record heatwave?
-
I don't mind the heat but 15 days of over 35c is a bit much :ack:, now its almost time to light the fire, :)
-
At least it's a dry heat, humidity is far worse. I grew up in Canberra, which has a similar climate to Adelaide.
-
Thats true, I stayed at Cairns for a couple of weeks that was too humid for me.
-
Haven't been that far north, Mackay is as far as I've been, really liked the town, but anywhere in Queensland is way too hot and humid for me. I did live in Brisbane for a few years, found it quite friendly, more of a big country town than a city, but that was some time ago. One thing I didn't enjoy about the tropical north, besides the weather, was all the creepy crawlies, didn't like the insects much either. ;D I don't think Simon would like the tropical north. ;)
