The move made by O2 and Carphone Warehouse to offer Apple's 8GB iPhone for £100 less than the standard price has proved successful - in a week. CW has no more left to sell, and O2's apparently down to the last few.

I've always wanted one of those and an old school stand up tape hard drive.

i hate tape drives... though I've never used one of those I've used DAT tapes many times and I just can't stand them... give me a dvd / portable hard drive any day!

Yeah, I've used a regular tape drive before and the tape degrades after awhile. Still though, ever since I watched Weird Science as a kid I've wanted a stand up tape drive.
