I didn't see anything about vista in that one clive ???. XP is extremely lean compared to vista. However lean it is they still had to pretty much gut it of the majority of its features to have it work smooth on those little cheap laptops.

I remember thinking how bloated xp was when it first came out. I even had a friend that downgraded to 98se just so he could "make the most of his resources."

It works for me, so it might be because it's the UK edition of the BBC site.
