Hi all,

Im on windows vista and my media player appears to have a glitch it jumps and stutters on every single music track just before the end, any ideas???

Hi Andy,

Is this Windows Media Player, and have you got the latest version?  You could try another media player, such as WinAmp to see if you get the same problem.

Also, is this just music files, or does it happen when playing CDs?

Found this, Andy:

Control Panel
Click Sound
Select Playback tab
Select Speakers/Headphones entry
Click Properties
Select Enhancements Tab
Disable all enhancements

Watch Media player perform 100 times faster with no stutter

Cheers Simon, that worked a treat, I downloaded winamp anyway, it sounds better.   :thumbs:
