that's about it.
 I'm looking for some software that's easy to use and that I can put my pictures on a DVD in an entertaining way.
Any hints? ???
Thanks. ;D

Nero (http://www.nero.com/eng/index.html) is the obvious one which springs to mind, Maria. When you say 'in an entertaining way', did you have something specific in mind? I also use Ashampoo Burning Studio (http://www2.ashampoo.com/webcache/html/1/product_2_0710__.htm) (because Nero didn't work on my Vista laptop), which does much the same sort of thing. Unfortunately, neither of those are free, but they both do offer free trials.

Windows Movie Maker in both XP and Vista is a nice simple and easy to use program that you already have and will do what you want and more :)

I use "Pinnacle Studio 9", i never thought of using "windows movie maker" :)x

There seems to be a limitation in the number of pictures or length of video clips that you can add at one time in XPs version meaning that you have to make a series of clips then add them together, easily done in XPs movie maker but an extra process.
Vistas version seems to have overcome that problem.
Both versions seem to have lots of wipes, effects and titling options, plus audio of course.
