Title: System Restore
Post by: MikeDavies on August 31, 2008, 19:40
For some reason I am unable to restore to a previous restore point (windows XP). I can select the required restore point and computer goes thru the usual motions but after restart the it just says that it could not restore to the required point and suggests trying a different restore point, which is also unsuccesful!

I have recently installed Norton 2008 security (free with BT), could this be the problem? Any advice very welcome.

System Restore is notorious for that, Mike, but it seems that Norton may also have something to do with it - see link below.
