Hope I have put this in the correct area......right its a really simple one this.
How do I highlight a particular line (for example) and then be able to post it without having posted the whole issue,if this makes sense.
I note that when members do this correctly it shades blue...The only way I have found to do this is to copy then insert as image..which although sort of works must be incorrect.
Could someone point me in the right direction, its annoying (well for me)
Thanks

Like this, do you mean, David:

Highlight the text you want to copy, hit Ctrl-C, then insert into your post between a couple of quote markers, so the above line would look like this:
How do I highlight a particular line (for example) and then be able to post it without having posted the whole issue,if this makes sense.
I think you're there, David. As has been said, you can either highlight and copy the part you want, then click the Quote (https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/Themes/default/images/bbc/quote.gif) button and paste the text between the markers, or you can do a normal (https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/Themes/default/images/buttons/quote.gif)Quote (http://www.pc-pals.com/smf/index.php?action=post;quote=168207;topic=26222.15;num_replies=16;sesc=628f18f5159b9d2ed245e88b9565b535) and edit the text before you post it. Either works and is correct. :)
