no I didn't mean sceptical in that it was a fake - I meant that the science will actually work... so I guess I'm still questioning if it is legit, but in a different way.

It's no different then people being skeptical about cern and the HRC. That's what peer review is for. Besides, if its the word "nanotechnology" that's making you nervous, its basically just advanced chemistry.

being a physicist I throughout understand the term nanotechnology! We have quite a large group here working on that sort of stuff but what I mean is I'm sceptical about how much it will change the world. I'm just hoping that not too much money could be sunk into a white elephant.
