Its the resident thicko.. ;D I'm devoting the whole day to my PCs today :)x and on my PB which is not really that old (15 months) I think what might just right a few wrongs is to restore to factory settings.Yes I did make back up copies when I purchased it.Is this the best way to do this or use the reset what I suppose is a pertition on the hard drive (although I'm semi guessing here) and is this operation as simple as when I first set the PC up ?IE put the disc in and just carry out an installation ?
Im past caring if it end s up in the bin and just have to get it right >:(

What are you trying to fix, David?
-
The PB Rik its working ok but the size of the text is so big and have tried everything to decrease them but to no avail so I copied all the date off it and thought I would try a total restore to sort it all out.
Having a fix or bust day........better get prepared to do some serious damage or get the thing working right.after all I have upgraded the ram and its too good to just sit in a corner but Im flumuxed with the text size....really tried all the usual things to get it to stay right.

If it's just the size of the text, check your settings for the graphics card, right-click an empty area of the desktop and select properties.

Just returned from PC World settled for a big book......(been looking for a while) now just have to learn to read

Tried everything so,but still too large even though all the settings are for normal size....the task bar is also too large and have tried varios things but this stays too big :woot:

Put your computer in the washing machine and set it to a 60 degree cycle. That always seems to shrink whatever I put in it.
