Hi All,
Hope your all well ;D
I have just taken some mpg videos with my new Sony DSC-U10 digital camera.
problem is I held the camera in portrait mode and now when I play the files back on my PC, they are rotated (The camera records in landscape - if you know what i mean!)
So is there anyway (without tilting my head to the left) to rotate these mpg video files the right way up?
A piece of freeware would be ideal - sadly I can't find anything.
Once again - thanks for your help.

I dont know for certain that it will do it but Pinnacle Studio 8 is supposed to be one of the best progs around for editing and doing things with video cams, its not cheap though unless you know where to shop ;)
A description of the prog is available here :

Think i'm on to something with a little freeware program called Virtual Dub. I'll give it a try and get back to you...
EDIT: Yep sorted it.
Used freeware from virtualdub.org (http://www.virtualdub.org) and vidiopak from stoik.com (http://www.stoik.com)
