Title: pc wont boot after installing belkin adapter

got this e machines 540 installed belkin wireless adapter then kept freezing mouse message come up recovered after serious error and then when restarted just showing screen e machines wont go further even with recovery disc please help

firstly is the belkin wireless adapter a usb one? Is it still attached?

Did the mouse start freezing after you first installed it, or after a reboot?

Could you give us more specifics, i.e. the operating system you are using

As Sam said, we could do with a few more details, i.e. is this on Vista or XP, and if Vista, is the Belkin adapter Vista compatible?

If USB, have you removed the adapter before trying to start the machine?

Can you start the machine in safe mode (usually, press F8 at the first boot screen)?  If so, you could try uninstalling the Belkin adapter, and see if it brings things back to normal.
