Title: Sleep Mode
Post by: GillE on February 26, 2009, 15:34
Whenever I put my Vista machine into sleep mode, it immediately restarts.  Can anyone suggest what might be causing this?

Possibly the network card is set to be allowed to wake the machine?

How can I find out if that is so?

Device Manager > Network Adaptors > select appropriate NIC > Properties > Power Management, Gill.

Thanks, Rik, that seems to have sorted out the problem :) .

I wonder how the device properties got changed in the first place.  Perhaps it was due to an automatic driver update.
