A study into spam has blamed it for the production of more than 33bn kilowatt-hours of energy every year, enough to power more than 2.4m homes.

Crikey!  Good report.  Something's got to change, as the internet will be unusable in a few years time, if the current trends continue.  :(

Brewing beers wines and spirits also produces CO2.  I wonder how much?  It will probably make this figure look like the proverbial drop in the ocean, if that isn't a mixed metaphor too far.
