Jack Dee was certainly my preference for this most prestigious of appointments.  Alas, I was not not consulted.  Perhaps the choice was so obvious that my specialist skills were not required on this occasion.

You weren't consulted??  Cheek!!  ;D  I think he would be good too.  His guest appearances on HIGNFY are always enjoyable.

I never used to like Jack Dee but either he has got better or my taste is going downhill  ;D
