I'm looking forward to the Bluray. :)
-
bluray, bah!
-
:)x
-
though saying that <looks down at his laptop> my laptop can play bluray... might have to treat myself to one.
-
Ah, but you need the surround sound and sofa shaking sub-woofer to get the real benefits, Sam. ;)
-
:dunno:
-
A decent pair of headphones can work wonders, though.
-
I actually had some surround headphones at one stage, and they weren't bad. :)
-
Almost any type of phones will give you a more 'intimate' connection with the sound, which helps involvement.
-
Yes, I agree. I really should invest in a decent pair.
-
Bose... ;D
-
I like the closed type.
-
Bose are. :)
-
...expensive? ;D
-
They are that, but they're good...
-
I'll take a look later. I could do with a treat! :)

I'll have to look when I get home. You're doing it here now, aren't you? ;D
-
;D
Would you expect less?
-
No. ;D
-
Where should we get the food threads going. ;D
-
I thought you and Gill were already getting pickled! :D
-
With relish. ;D

Hmm... I actually thought they'd be dearer than that. I'm not sure I like them - they look a little flimsy. :-\
-
I've never got on with big headphones like always preferred the in ear ones.
-
I can't stand those, or anything in my ears. You do get a more immersive experience with 'closed' headphones, as they tend to block out more outside noise.
-
the ones Lizzie got me for my birthday the other year have been absolutely fantastic for that - they are in ear ones so you'd not like them - but gosh on a plain (what with the software mode enabled) you'd have thought you were in the middle of the desert. no sound what-so-ever.

Sounds good. 8-)
What about these, I wonder?

SENNHEISER are a good make but that price would make me run away...
-
That's not the most expensive by far, Sam! How do these babies grab you? ;D

yikes. I could hold a festival for less money.

And I'm sure people have! ;D
