MySQL Licensing is:
- GPL (General Public License). See fsf.org for interpretations of the GPL.
- Special exception for non-GPL applications to use the MySQL (GPL) client libraries, as long as the app is also open source. This covers open source (but not GPL) apps. See http://www.mysql.com/company/legal/licensing/foss-exception.html for the list of accepted licenses.
