That's a relief. ;)

Never used it myself. :dunno:

Me neither. But anything not being owned by eBay sounds good to me.

I'm surprised Google didn't buy it.
-
We used to use it a lot but people find out about your Skype address and try and spam you. That's why we stopped using it.

That's not surprising. ':|

I live on skype these days. Lizzie has it on her 3 mobile in the UK and so that means I can basically call here whenever - very useful (and free of course) when you are living on the wrong side of the planet from your loved ones.
-
I can see it's uses in those circumstances. :)

Must be perfect for you Sam. I think you should add us as contacts so we can listen in and offer advice. ;D

We use it all the time to keep in touch with our Son and Daughter-in-Law out in Kazakhstan
Clive you can only get spammed if you want to be spammed. Just set it up that only people in your address book can contact you. And as nobody can get in your address book unless you let them in.........simples

Thanks Tony. I think we were using an early version of Skype but we no longer have a use for it. Nobody ever came through on voice unless we allowed them to but people knew we existed and would ask permission to talk to us. I'm sure that the software became more sophisticated in later versions.
