Title: keyboard input issue - vista

hi. i have a problem with me keyboard. when i type some letters like u or p things like 4 or p will appear on screen as the input. i checked vista default input language and it is enlish, uk asit should be. please can someone help?

p.s if it helps the input woks like this: the u key has a big u in white and a small blue 4 onit. when i pres this key the 4 appears.

if it is could be you have 'Num Lock' key pressed on, just a guess  :dunno:

I usually find that a reboot solves most problems such as this.  Hope it has worked for you!   :)

Hi guys.

Reboot was first thing i tried, which didnt work. It is a laptop and as it turns out, i did in fact have numlock turned on, what a noob!!
