I have had 2 22" Samsung Syncmasters pack up in the last 2 years was thinking of getting this one
LG W2453TQ Full HD
-
LG seems to have a good reputation generally.
-
Can't disagree there, but so does Samsung. :)

I'd recommend Dell monitors.
I know of least 6 on the go that haven't gave any problems over the last few years and my current one was a pretty good deal at the time of the offer >Link (http://www.pc-pals.com/smf/index.php?topic=28987.0)
The only current "bargain" offer i can see at the moment is this > Dell ST2210 21.5 inch hdmi 1080 p monitor £127.20 (http://http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/560829/dell-st2210-21-5-inch-hdmi-1080-p-m?)
Also read the comments on the Dell link as there is other alternatives mentioned on there but i wouldn't go for the Benq one :icon_chuckpc:
I'd also say the LG should be a good monitor though if i had the choice between the Dell and the LG (same spec) i'd go for the Dell.

LG and Samsung have always served me well.

If your still looking then this could well be your answer... Dell ST2410 24" Full HD Widescreen Monitor - £155.81 + Quidco (http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/564782/dell-st2410-24-full-hd-widescreen-m)
They come on around this price every now and then and get snapped up quick. Has HDMI too

Looks nice. :)

As you've had two go in the space of two years, I'd go back to where you got them from. Even outside of the manufacturers guarantee period; electrical goods in general should have a longer life than their manufacturers warranty period. Time to make a claim under the sale of goods act!
