You mean there's a new Doctor Who?  :horror:  Well, thanks for ruining my Christmas viewing, when I get round to seeing it at Easter, Serenity!  :bawl:

I very much enjoyed it too. A fitting ending for David Tennant. Shame he has left though but after watching him at the RSC last year I understand why he would want to get onto other things.

Thank goodness it's all over.  This Christmas seems to have been nothing but David Tennant on the Beeb.  I even woke up to him on Desert Island Discs!

What a load of contrived cobblers Doctor Who is.  Sadly, His Lordship is an addict so I can hardly avoid it.

Not many Dr Who episodes without a dalek in are very good.
They should bring the daleks back, as they are always the best ones.

They are all good in their own right San  not as good as Star Trek though IMO  having seen the new Star Trek movie this week  its FAB  returning to James T Kirk what a clever idea... now this opens up the flood gates for 20 more films as they plot his life

I agree - the new Star Trek movie is a breath of fresh air :) .  'Tis a pity the Doctor Who producers haven't come up with a similar 'reset' idea.

I'm sure it's just a matter of time Gill,  they all tend to take the lead from each other,  as long as they dont bring someone back in the shower  ;)    ;D

I've heard nothing but good things about the Star Trek movie.  Have it on Blu Ray, but not got round to watching it yet.  :)

yeah but Dr Who is sort-of aimed at children, this new Star Trek though a 12A really isn't. At times I feel it deserves a much higher rating. Especially given the torture scene. Oh well, its still a kick-ass movie. Simon -  you should watch now!
