I didnt reckon much to the story Bev. The last 30 minutes or so were probably the best but I think it was too long.
I wouldnt bother seeing it again unless it was showing in 3D, as it was intended to be seen in.

I enjoyed the film overall. I think without the 3D it would be a bit pants as the story wasn't that great. Overall it wasn't the most fantastic sci-fi ever. I do think it was worth £8 of entertainment though.

Kiaora always used to make me cough.  It was like drinking battery acid!

glad you enjoyed it.  I'd have probably enjoyed it more if the animation hadn't made my better half feel ill.

I've just seen Star Trek on Bluray.  Good film, but unfortunately, I fell asleep for about 20 minutes of it.  Nice surprised to see the old Spock!  :D

AT LAST!

The start of the film is just kick-ass. I've never know a Star Trek film to go into it so quickly. I very much enjoyed it.

It's one I would watch again, Sam, but the bit where the planet imploded nearly had the same effect on my sub-woofer!   :o

lol.

Massive science error on that and Spock though. I know its sci-fi but come on...  to see that happen in the quality he did he would have had to be about as close as the Moon is to the Earth

2-D Avatar To Be Pulled From Theaters In China

Quote
Avatar is being pulled from screens in China for being too successful, and too provocative in its anti-authoritarian message. (The 3-D and IMAX versions will remain.)
