Title: Buying Motherboard
Post by: FireSeraph on January 29, 2010, 18:25
Does anyone know where I can buy a HP OEM K8S-LA Salmon ASUS Motherboard SiS 760 Socket 754 INSIDE the United States?  Ebay has them, but they are all from China and it costs $25.00 just for flat rate shipping.

Many Thanks,
Fireseraph

Hopefully, one of our US members will be able to help you with that, FS.

In the meantime, have you tried Amazon.com?  I can't find the precise one you mentioned, but they do seem to offer quite a few ASUS Motherboards (http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=sr_nr_n_1?rh=n%3A172282%2Ck%3AASUS%2Cn%3A!493964%2Cn%3A541966%2Cn%3A193870011%2Cn%3A1048424&bbn=193870011&keywords=ASUS&ie=UTF8&qid=1264805347&rnid=193870011).

I could think of a few places in Alberta but that's probably not use - I expect they aren't over the whole of North America...
I came across http://www.compusa.com/ the other day..

Hey guys, thanks for the help.  However, I think I will bite the bullet and order from China.  I did find one on Amazon.com but it was $111 and refurbished  what a joke

Many Thanks,

All I would advise is, make sure it's the genuine article.
