well Sydney is a big player in the prep but it'll be primarily in Western Australia if it gets the go-ahead (but there will be telescopes all over the continent) http://www.skatelescope.org/pages/page_genpub.htm / http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square_Kilometre_Array

Maybe so, but I did have a soft spot for him and really enjoyed chatting with him, as long as it wasn't religion.  ::)

Did he ever chat about anything else?  It was a shame, as he was an otherwise very intelligent and knowledgeable guy.
