Title: Countdown Conundrum!
Post by: Simon on March 24, 2010, 22:46
TV bosses were left with red faces when the F-word popped up on quiz show Countdown.

Numbers girl Rachel Riley cringed as the letters U, D, F, C, K, E all came up in a contestant's selection — and host Jeff Stelling gave a wry smile.

Viewers sat with baited breath in case the two contestants decided to go for the obvious six-letter word — and trigger a flood of complaints.

Damn, I missed it!  Rachel is certainly a good reason to watch.  :letch:

After seeing her on Question Time the other day she is a nasty piece of work.  Even the audience complained about her.   :(

Really?  I find it hard to see why she was even on there.

She was as spiteful and vindictive as a politician. ;)

Even worse than a politician!  I have never seen such vitriol in previous editions Question Time.  Even the newspaper commentators were horrified with her behaviour.

Well, she wasn't wearing a revealing frock and smiling nicely. :)

She was heartbroken when Richard Whitely died.

I've seen some clips on YouTube.  She definitely seemed well prepared, as she was reading most of what she said.  If they don't like outspoken personalities on QT, why do they have token celebrities on the panel.

If they don't know what the questions will be, how come they have so much briefing material?

Last night's edition was very tame.

But was still giving the politicians the message that we've had enough of them.

No, of course not, but they are beginning to look a bit shaken that it's still going on...

I think the three major parties will get a shock when the general election results are counted. The only party that wants to improve Britain for the Brits is fielding lots more candidates this time than ever before as the nazis in the Equality and Human Rights Commission and the UAF have managed to generate a lot of publicity and support for them over the last 12 months  :)
