I hadn't realised it was still in production!
-
Longest running sit-com ever, isn't it? Never found it funny myself.
-
The problem I had was my dislike for many of its characters. OK, all of its characters. Well I didn't mind Peter Sallis so much. ;D
-
I loved the spin-off series, All Creatures Great And Small. The old geezers made guest appearances each week, pretending to have a cow/dog/ferret which always needed a vet to conduct invasive exploration up to his elbow. My, how those ferrets wiggled!
-
That goes to show how much I watched it. I hadn't a clue All Creatures was a spin off of Summer Wine! :dunno:
-
It wasn't.
::)
-
:sigh:
I didn't watch that either. :wahh:

:pmsl: Rik will explain Simon. Oh wait... he's a southerner too. :scot:
-
I think he might have something to say about that, Clive! ;D
-
With Clive being Welsh, Simon, it's pointless trying to explain - they've never got over having been subdued by the English. ;D :scoot:
-
I'm used to being subdued by Mrs Clive. :D
-
Kinky.
-
Knowing one's place. ;D
-
Cleese, Barker & Corbett. :)
-
An unforgetttable classic by any standard! And oh so true!
-
Certainly at the time, it would need a little modification now.
-
Yes, we look down on the toffs now!
