Hi guys,
Can anyone please tell me what is NTFS and why does everyone recommend I use this instead of FAT32?

Indeed.... here is some quick info:
NTFS is New Technology File System and is the standard for Windows NT. Its not my choice, then again I choose a linux file system, HFS or ext3. It has many advantages over FAT32 on a Windows machine. Basic FAT has a 2 GB filesize issue, and FAT32 has problems with TB size disks. NTFS should also be faster than FAT32 I believe.
