Customers choose broadband services based on price, but speed is the main factor that governs whether they stick with an ISP.

Thing is, poor speeds are more often than not the fault of BT, and not the ISPs, although, the ISPs shoulder most of the blame. People have moved from IDNet, because they won't accept IDNet isn't at fault, but then they find themselves in the same, or a worse, situation elsewhere. Speed and latency (pings) are complained about on IDNetters, much more than price, yet, usually, the problems boil down to VP congestion or customer's equipment.

Customers aren't going to be so daft as to say that download limits are important to them. After all, nobody wants to draw attention to themself.
