This Sunday is, of course, Independence Day in the United States of America, so it’s time to show your patriotic side. There’s no reason, though, why you have to hide your geeky side — why not celebrate both at the same time?

I'm presuming Rio's sent a reply - she was certainly checking her canine pee-mails and leaving responses when she had her daily exercise :) .
She seemed to enjoy today, having a lie-in until noon, then gravy biscuits, cuddles, more snoozing, some chicken liver for tea, doggy-friendly chocolate biscuits, more cuddles and an evening stroll before giving my arms a good licking and then finally settling down for the night. They reckon a dog's age is 7 years for every human year, with 9 years for the first. I hope I'm doing as well as her when I'm 121.

No wonder she's lived such a long time! ;D
