The sun can dump enough energy into Earth's magnetic field to trigger "spacequakes" in our planet's upper atmosphere, a new study has found.

I'm hoping to see an aurora from Iceland in a few weeks time, but failing that there are several dedicated "Northern Lights" cruises available during the next couple of years.
