Title: Is Linux Really Harder to Use?

Not surprisingly, the misperception that Linux is harder to use than other operating systems is also one that competing vendors routinely use to scare potential new users away from Linux.

I dont think its harder but different

It strikes me to be close to the same problem as switching from Windows XP to Windows Vista

Some of the same conditions apply

I had to go from XP to Vista when I bought a new computer :( .  As I've said before, I'd switch to Linux like a shot if it had better support for television cards and dongles.

lol.

I have Vista installed on my laptop too - it came with it and so I just repartitioned it when I got it.... I booted it to play a game I was having issues installing in Ubuntu (/my VM wasn't working properly with it) - it was like using a really s**t computer instead of my kickass machine.... reminded me just why I use Linux - performance rules.

Dongles are those little gadgets that fit into a USB socket.  Some TV receivers are dongles.
