Title: Amazon "to launch Android app store"

Amazon is planning to open an applications store that runs on Google's Android platform, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

Amazon's offering would compete with existing app stores from Apple and Google itself.

When asked for comment, an Amazon spokesman said via email: "We haven't announced anything." A Google spokesman said the company doesn't comment on rumour or speculation.

Unlike Apple, Amazon and Google, I do comment on rumour and speculation.
Like Apple, Amazon and Google, I don't make comments that are worth noting.
