Piers Corbyn not only predicted the current weather, but he believes things are going to get much worse, says Boris Johnson, London's mayor.

Not sure how this article turned up in the Sydney Morning Herald but it was first published in Johnson's regular Daily Telegraph column on Monday.   :dunno:

How can you have a mini ice age?  The thing about ages is they last... well... ages; it matters not if they're mini or standard.

We'll just have to adapt - build ice sheds to store food in the garden, buy thermals etc. ;)

True. I gather from DR this morning that they've been able to get all their orders away except the ones to Aberdeenshire.  :)

Do you talk to DR every day, then?  At least I haven't had any spam from them for several minutes, so that's an improvement.
