:haha:

Looks good-How long do the batteries last? :hehe:
-
Depends which app I'm using! ;D
-
Using it to jump start the Jag must drain it a bit. ;D
-
Amazingly,I haven't had to use it for that yet. It's still on the original battery which is now coming up to 7 years old. I admit I only use it for long (ish) runs but I don't recall any other batteries lasting this long. :dunno:
-
Is it garaged? The cold often kills them.
-
No, I've always parked it on the drive and it starts in an instant whatever the weather. 8-)
-
Good battery, then. Having said that, I can't remember the last time I had to change mine, and I've had the vehicle since 1996! I remember it having a battery, but it was several years ago.
-
I thought you changed to Peugot a few years ago? :dunno:
-
I have the school minibus, which is the 1996 vehicle (a Peugeot Boxer), and a Peugeot 806, which is the taxi.
-
Ah right. I remember you had a problem with the 806, was it a door lock or something? I had a Scenic before the crappy little Dagenham Dustbin I bought last year
and I had to replace the battery on that after 4 years.
-
Yes, I had a spare key cut for the 806, but it was a bad cut and got jammed in the lock. Wonderful vehicle, though, and drives like new.
-
I was very happy with my Peugot 306 which I kept for 4 years and had no trouble at all with it.
-
My old 406 did 340,000 miles before it conked out!
-
You really should have had it serviced, Simon. ;)
-
It probably wouldn't have lasted so long then! ;D
-
Certainly not at my dealer it wouldn't. :)
-
We use a local garage. Dealers tend to be too expensive.
-
I agree, but I got a package that covered the first six years, then they screwed up so I got a seventh year, they screwed up again, so year 8 is going to be cheap. :)
-
340,000 miles is incredible Simon. A friend of mine has one which has covered 104,000 miles virtually trouble free so they must be an excellent car. 8-)

I remember that... was a comedy of errors on the part of the locksmiths if I remember rightly - its probably all documented here somewhere
-
and yep I found it in the danger zone...
