An extensive study of tree growth rings says there could be a link between the rise and fall of past civilisations and sudden shifts in Europe's climate.

its an interesting idea, but wouldn't the trees have records of this too?

Do we have evidence of where it would have landed, surely we could track it down?

Yes the trees kept the records very intact!  You will be able to find his paper in A&G if you care to look it up.  I understand it's the most well read A&G paper of all time!

wow - I will have a look. A&G - I'm never sure about it though.
