Applications for Ubuntu/Linux are not at all in short supply. But picking the best from the rest is not an easy thing to do. There are a number of really good bit torrent clients for Ubuntu out there. Here we intend feature a collection of 5 really good bit torrent clients for Ubuntu which we think are among the best.

uTorrent is still the best one for Windows, imo. I notice Vuze is in that list, which used to be Azureus. That was a great torrent client, until it got bloated with more sh*te than I've ever seen anything bloated with.

I agree with you on that! Azureus was my #1 until it became unusable.

I don't know what they did to it. One day it was a torrent client, then it seemed to become something totally different, and I couldn't even work out how to use it!
