Mmm... and the point is? :dunno:
-
yeah, who wants something that looks like that - anymore. If you want something combined like that then get a mac with it all in the monitor.
-
I used to have a C64 and it was a super machine. However, those days are gone. I reckon this machine is for middle-aged nerds who are desperate to re-live the youth they lost playing Lemmings and Raid Over Moscow.
-
I didn't have one either but they were much better than my lowly Spectrum. I agree entirely with what you say Gill.
-
I hear they're bringing back the wind up gramophone next. ;)
-
but I still own my kick ass old Atari 65XE... why do I need something newer? It sits in a box I occasionally pull out... but I can always just use an emulator. All very strange.

You can also buy an AMIGA 1000 (http://www.commodoreusa.net/CUSA_Amiga1000.aspx) or a VIC PRO (http://www.commodoreusa.net/CUSA_VicPro.aspx) .
I always coveted a Vic 20.

i really dont see the point.

Nostalgia dear Sam. Nostalgia.
-
I suppose that for Sam's generation nostalgia is the memory of the discman.
For my generation it's the memory of vinyl 45s.
For Clive's generation it's the memory of wax cylinders.

I can certainly remember the wind-up gramophones which required a change of needle after every playing. The records were all 78's made of shellac. I still have some in the attic!
-
No for me, its magnetic tape and the wonders of listening to the data flowing off it on to the memory of my old Atari.
-
The Spectrum was the same. It usually failed during the final minute of data transfer.
-
always!

A present for you Sam...SAM'S PRESENT (http://www.engadget.com/2011/04/20/niyari-brings-back-atari-400-nostalgia-with-usb-keyboard-brown/) 8-)
