That could be anywhere in the desert.  How do we know it's Area 51?

Well there's certainly a virus out there, "fake alert fab" or something like that. Got it when i clicked on the national geographic link. It hides all your icons, hijacks and changes the desktop and brings up lots of hard drive failure alerts.
I suspect the crummy AV we have at work has something to do with it. Anyhow the IT boys changed my profile and that sorted it, trouble is i've lost lots of shortcuts, favourites and such.  :bawl:
Could have been worse tho'  ;)

How strange.  I've has no problems with the link and I haven't had any virus alerts from F-Secure.  I wonder if anyone else has had a problem with it?   :dunno:

Like i said Clive i suspect it's the cheapo (McAfee) bulk license software that we use at work, I certainly wouldn't use it at home.

McAfee always seems to be pre-installed on new computers and the first thing I do is to remove it.  I remember having bad experiences with it when I had my Win 95 machine.   >:(

I'm with F-Secure too, and it didn't give me any problems.

I can.  They pay the computer manufacturer/retailer money to let them do it.

yeah, I understand why they do it. I'm surprising the government haven't banned it in the way they tried to f*** up microshaft.

Nearly  undetectable to radar, the A-12 could fly at 2,200 miles an hour (3,540  kilometers an hour)—fast enough to cross the continental U.S. in 70  minutes.

If the aircraft was to fly in the opposite direction to the earth's rotation, would it reach the opposite coast any quicker?  Just a thought...

No, I don't think so. In essence the plane is already moving at 1,000 Mph, and so are you.
