Always a relief when it's in orbit. Just keep fingers crossed that it comes back in one piece now!

I've never attended a launch although we were relatively nearby when one was scheduled to take off back in 2001. Needless to say it was delayed so we didn't see anything. A friend of mine has made several attempts to see one and got lucky on just one occasion. He came back with lots of photos but said the noise was beyond belief.
