Title: Java
Post by: Clive on December 16, 2011, 20:55
It seems I require Java in order to use a piece of bespoke software.  For some reason, since my rebuild, I no longer have it installed on my machine.  Where would be the safest place to download it?
 :)

Thanks Davy - that worked a treat.  It's a small application that allows me to remotely view a spectroscope located about 250 miles from where I live.  All very clever.   8-)

Yes, I'd heard about that Davy.  I'm always loathe to download anything like that from a Google search.

Very few sites are safe to download from anymore
Have to be able to check the download before you do

Or just go to the source - I'm on phone so not sure where your link points to but I'm sure java.com is the place to go
