Last year we circumnavigated Surtsey island which appeared off the coast of Iceland in the mid sixties.  Already there are the first signs of moss and grass covering parts of the volcanic rock.  The only inhabitants are a handful of scientists who have to use a helicopter to get on and off the island. I expect a McDonalds to open up next year.   :laugh:
