They need to learn what UHF is - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultra_high_frequency
If really UHF it will do feck all - if its high frequency sound then maybe, but if you can't hear it do you actually detect it?

The inner ear will feel the vibrations but not actually hear that high a frequency
It can cause imbalance and upset stomach
You can feel it more as an itch on the skin

Ah OK - but that's only in the KHz.
If they are really talking UHF then we are talking radio waves and that will do feck all to ya.

But we aren't talking microwaves. We are talking metrewaves to cm at 100MHz to say 2GHz.
